  • Have music that you enjoy, plan in advance where you will be during the party and plan the food so you are not stuck in the kitchen. If you can afford it, hire service staff to serve your guests and clean up. If you can’t afford it, assign close friends and family to assist and share the load.
  • This allows you to enjoy being with your guests and enjoy yourself.
• Communicate your goals to your guests.
  • Ensure that you speak to your closest guests to tell them what’s most important. Make sure you communicate with your event planner/caterer/helpers your goal.
  • The benefit of clear communications is that these people can act as an extension of you, and know what you’re thinking in the grand scheme. With everyone on the same page, your event will be a success.
